Robert Craig Reese age 88 passed away on July 16th. He was married for 67 years to Sylvia Reese and leaves two children, David W. Reese of Houston, TX and Gwen Reese Haines of Lawrenceville, GA. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, Geoffrey Reese and Matthew Reese of McKinney TX, Carl Haines of Scranton, PA, Katherine Haines Steinhofer of Georgia, David A Reese of Spring, TX and eleven great-grandchildren. Robert served in the US Navy from 1943 to 1946. Upon completion of his service he attended Cornell University graduating in 1947. He was employed as an engineer by Babcock & Wilcox in Ohio, American LaFrance in Elmira, NY and for over 30 years by Corning Glass Works in Corning, NY. Upon retirement he and his wife moved to Eastham, MA where he resided until just recently when they moved to a retirement home in McKinney, TX. He was a long-term member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, a member of the first Presbyterian Church in Corning and the Federated Church in Orleans, MA. He will be mightily missed by family and friends. Interment will be private for the family. Donations in his name may be made to the charity of your choice.
