Maria Lucia Reyes Resendiz of Garland, Texas passed away on January 15, 2014. She was 89 years old. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Emigdio Mendez; parents, Paulino Reyes and Alorentina Resendiz. Maria Lucia is survived by children, Francisco Mendez, Apolonia Davila, Emilio Mendez, Fabiana Mendez, Dora Hurtado, Bernarda Mendez and Fernando Mendez; grandchildren, Nicolas, Juan Francisco, Angelica, Gerardo, Vanessa, Juan Manuel, Amada, Sanjuanita, Juan Emilio, Marylou, Susie, Cindy, Fernando Mendez, Jr., Marylou Tovar, Melissa, Dulce, Lucia, and Arturo Hurtado, Melanie, Veronica, Alma, Angelica, and Elia Davila; bother Tomas Reyes. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm at the Aria Cremation Service & Funeral Home Chapel in Irving.
