In late December, we said good night to the one who once sang to us "Good mornin, good mornin, to you." Born in 1932, Debbie Reynolds grew up in El Paso, Texas before moving with her family 7 years later to Burbank California, where she would go on to win beauty contests and get a contract with Warner Brothers. She would have have small parts in musicals throughout the 50s, including her breakout leading role as Kathy Seldon in "Singing in the Rain." She would have many other high profile roles including Charlotte in the Hanna Barbara animated production of "Charlottes Web", and the mother Bobbi Adler in "Will & Grace." Mother to actress Carrie Fisher and director Todd Fisher, Debbie Reynolds provided us with entertainment on stage, television, and film, and left behind a rich legacy of entertainment. She will be missed.
