It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard George Huber on May 2, 2024 in Dallas, TX at the age of 73. Richard was born on March 13, 1951 in Hong Kong to Josephine and Alfred Huber. He spent his early years in Torreón, Mexico before moving to Dallas, where he attended Hillcrest High School. Richard furthered his education at SMU and obtained his accounting degrees from the University of North Texas, subsequently becoming a CPA.

In 1971, Richard married Jeri in Dallas, TX, and together they had two sons, Ryan and Marc. Throughout their 53 years of marriage, Richard cherished his family and was a devoted husband and father. He was an active member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church and was known for his love of the outdoors, often enjoying fishing and rockhounding excursions with family and friends. Despite not actively pursuing golf, Richard achieved a hole-in-one, showcasing his natural talent.

Richard was a man of great humor, faith, and friendship. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents Josephine and Alfred Huber, as well as his sister Heidi Sulak. Richard is survived by his loving wife Jeri Huber, sons Ryan Huber and Marc Huber, and daughter-in-law Jiaqian Wu.

A funeral mass to celebrate Richard's life will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Dallas, TX at 11:00 AM on 21st May 2024, with a reception to follow nearby.
