She had a strong mother who raised them well and throughout life had a huge respect for her mother. After retirement, Betty and Bob traveled to every continent except Australia and Antarctica. Bob and Betty were married for seventy years and she is very proud that all of her children have college degrees. In her words, ""The Heavenly Father has been very good to us." She was a talented gardener, a life long learner, a well read, highly intelligent woman, a kind hostess and care giver. When asked her philosophy on life, Betty replied, "I think anything is possible. So, it's worth a try." Betty passed away on Wednesday, August 23 in Dallas, Texas.
