Rick Lamar Gummelt passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on April 7, 2023. For most of his life, Rick was married to Laura. They have two sons, Kyle and Kelly. Rick had many hobbies and was especially good at home improvement projects, teaching Kyle and Kelly many skills they now use in their own homes. Rick loved hunting, fishing, golf, the Dallas Cowboys (some seasons), and spending time with his family.

Rick leaves behind his parents, Garry and Glenda, his sister Tina and his brother Kirk, his sons Kyle and Kelly, granddaughters Emilia, Eila, and Blake, and a large extended family including many loving nephews for whom he will always be the favorite uncle. He was loved by so many and will be incredibly missed.

Kyle and Kelly will celebrate Rick's life privately with family and friends on Saturday, April 15, 2023.
