Robbie L. Skinner, 92, passed away peacefully at Bedford Wellness & Rehab on May 19, 2023. Robbie was born February 2, 1931, in Dunn, Texas. She lived in the Texas cities of Dunn, Oplin, Baird, Abilene, Odessa, Amarillo, Hurst, and Bedford. She worked for several companies throughout her career. Robbie's hobbies were piano, sewing, writing poems, and playing dominos and cards with friends. She and her late husband Bill always enjoyed traveling. Robbie was a member of Shady Oaks Baptist Church. In her younger years, she was involved in teaching Sunday School to kids of all ages in the various towns she lived in. Survivors include her son Randy and his wife Shari; Granddaughter Crystal and her husband Aaron; Granddaughter Melanie and her husband Kyle; Great Grandchildren Ava, Hunter, Jake, and Cooper; Nieces Carla, Beverly, and Dana and their families; Sister-In-Law Joyce; and Cousin Douglas and his wife Janis. Services will be held at Aria Cremation Service & Funeral Home located at 1820 N. Belt Line Rd., Irving, Texas 75061, on Tuesday, May 30, 2023. The Viewing begins at 10:00am and Funeral Service at 11:00am. (There will NOT be a graveside service.) She will be buried with her husband Bill at DFW National Cemetery.
