Robert Paul Reid, 77, of Irving TX passed away on Monday, May 15th, 2023. Born September 22nd, 1945, in Dallas, TX, Robert grew up in Dallas and attended North Dallas High School. After Graduation he would join the United States Navy. On February 16th, 1965, he married the love of his life, Catherine Ewing Reid and would later celebrate 53 years of marriage. After finishing deployment in the US Navy, he returned home and began working for Braniff Airlines. Then he went to work for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Grapevine where he remained until he retired in 2008. Robert was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years Ada Catherine Ewing Reid in 2018 and his Brother Tom Calvin Reid in 2023. Robert lived this life surrounded by family members who will forever love and miss him dearly. We will Celebrate the life of Robert on June 3rd, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at his residence.
