Ronald Dodd Cassady passed away on August 3, 2024. Born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma on September 11, 1953, he was the son of Weldon and Jonnie Cassady. Ron was a graduate of Northwest Classen High School and Eastern Oklahoma State, where he graduated with a degree in Nursing. Ron met his wife in a high school English class and married Gael Ferrell on May 15, 1976. They settled in Oklahoma City until 1991 when they moved their family, which had grown to include two boys: Jason and John, to Dallas. Trained as a nurse, Ron touched many lives over the course of his career.

His memory will live on through ex-wife, Gael Cassady, whom he remained close with until the end, his brother, Thomas Cassady. His much loved sons Jason and John, and daughters-in-law, Emily & Allison, as well as his three grandsons: Jonathon, Wyatt, and Everett.

Relatives and friends will gather at Aria Funeral Home, 19310 Preston Rd, Dallas, TX 75252 on August 30, 2024, at 2pm.
