Ben Ross, 55, peacefully passed away on May 30, 2018 in McKinney, Texas. He suffered for years with chronic knee issues affecting his mobility and circulation. God heard his cry and rescued him from his pain and suffering. Ben was born in New Orleans, LA and raised in Oakland, CA. He graduated from Castlemont High School in 1980, studied bio med, and chemistry at Chabot College and Cal State Eastbay in Hayward, CA. His love for chemistry led him to opportunities at Genentech, Bayer, Abbott Laboratories, to name a few. Ben loved Northern California surrounded by his beautiful children and close friends. He graciously moved to McKinney, Texas in February 2015 to care for his mother. Survived by his son, Shaun E. Ross; daughter, Alexis N. Ross; brother, Ken E. Ross; sister, Michelle A. Johnson; grandchildren, Anthony Wills, Mylan Ross, Shaun-Austin Ross, Autumn Johnson; and great-grandchild Arlo Wills. Preceded in death by father, Graham Elliot Ross; mother, Mavis A.
