Obituary

Arnold Salinas, 78 years old, of Dallas, TX passed away June 27, 2020 with his two sons at his bedside. He was the proud father of Christopher and Jonathan Salinas, both graduates of the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. The eldest son of the late Andrew and Angela (Amesqua) Salinas and brother to the late Susanna (Salinas) Judd and her late husband David Judd, he is survived by his sister Virginia (Salinas) Graves and her husband William, brother Albert Salinas and his wife Linda, brother Donnie and his wife Claudia, and his brothers Arthur and Joseph. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close family friends. Arnold was especially known for his skill and success as a golfer. Renowned for his short game and discipline, he won numerous tournaments and designed golf courses around the world and was the Club Champion at Royal Oaks Country Club in Dallas several years running. While the power in his swing may have faded in recent years, his love of the game and sharp analysis never did. Arnold wanted his sons and family to know that he led a full life. He will be greatly missed by many. Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
