Sarah Emily "Sally" Sanders of Lewisville, Texas passed away on Wednesday April 9th 2014. She was born in Salem, Ohio on July 3rd 1942 to the late Elizabeth (Bebe) and Robert Snyder. Sally graduated from Salem Senior High School in 1960 and was a National Merit Scholar. She began her college education at Denison University in Granville, Ohio where she was a member of Pi Beta Phi Sorority. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree Summa Cum Laude at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. Sally married Jack T. Sanders on November 24th 1961. Although her academic background was in clinical psychology, her forte was numbers and she always gravitated to positions that employed that ability. She acquired a number of titles and accolades ranging from Office Accountant to Senior Staffer, Controller, and Chief Financial Officer. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, a son Jay Benton Sanders of Chicago, a daughter Katherine Elizabeth Sanders of Dallas, a brother Robert B. Snyder of N. Barrington, IL, and a sister Susan E. Stoddard of Beloit, Ohio. A memorial "Celebration of Life" service is planned for later in the year in Salem, Ohio.
