Sandra Arleen Catherine (Hansen) Shaw, of Benbrook, Texas, passed away on April 4th, 2023, at the age of 81. Sandra was born on April 16th, 1941, in Grand Falls, New Brunswick Canada to Ejvind Christian Hansen - Father (deceased) and Joy West Hansen - Mother (deceased). She retired from the State of Texas as a case worker for Medicaid. She was a loving wife of over 40 years to her husband and best friend, Donald Shaw (deceased). Sandra is survived by her daughter Diana Marnell; son Brian Shaw and his wife Maria; son Brett Shaw and his wife Christy; Gayle Hansen Bixler - sister (husband deceased); Allan R. Hansen - brother and his wife Donna Hansen. Brother-in-law Ed Shaw and wife Becky. Sandra also leaves behind her loyal canine Toby. Nieces: Kimberley Albert and Husband Joey Albert; Kristine London and Husband James London; Natalie Bixler, Farrah Anderson and husband Jon Anderson; Alicia Hansen Baragar and husband Shane Baragar.; Pam Watson and husband Layne. Nephews: Kristen Hansen; Matt Hansen; Steve Shaw and wife Debra. Grandchildren: Michael King and his wife Stephanie; Bryson Shaw, Bailey Shaw, Bo Shaw, Erin Starling and husband Davante, Katie Shaw and significant other Dante Hartso, Brandon Green, Bayleigh Green and Brittany Pultz. Great grandchildren: Tatum Groves, Kinley King, Kaizley King, and Rex Starling. Also like family: son Joe Krachinski, devoted family friends Julie Zsambok, Becca VonBehrens, her daughter Deanna Reed and husband Tyler. Funeral Services will be held at 2:30 on April 24th, 2023, at Aria Funeral Home, 1820 N. Belt Line Road, Irving, TX 75061 with viewing and visitation starting at 2:00.
