Phyllis Dora Schenk, age 83, Dallas, Texas. It is with great sadness that the family of Phyllis Schenk announces her passing on June 10, 2020, at Seasons Hospice in Dallas, Texas. Phyllis was born in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia, Canada, and was the daughter of the late Lewis and Alice (MacKenzie) Reid. Phyllis moved to the United States in 1979. She was a homemaker and mother, and much loved by her four children, who will dearly miss her. She is survived by her sons, Robert Schenk of Lima, Peru, Joseph Schenk of Maine, and Daniel (Asuncion Viray) Schenk of Louisville, KY; her daughter, Christine Schenk of Dallas, TX; her grandchildren, Darielle Schenk, of Dallas, TX, Bailey Schenk and Casey Schenk, of Louisville, KY; her sisters, Mary Lou (Ken) Fletcher, Alice (Harold) Ahlberg-Eckhardt, of Ontario, Canada; and her brother, Gordon (Sylvia) Reid, of Nova Scotia, Canada; Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her sisters, Betty Baird, Doris Prime, Joan Reid, Carol Smith; her brothers, Earl, Alvin, Eldridge, Irvin, Jack, Victor, Donald, Fred, Phillip, Carl, and one in infancy.
