Wanda Schwartz passed away on Saturday, January 21, 2017 surrounded by her family. She was born on December 1, 1928 to the late George and Emma Fenwick. She was an only child and raised in Harvey, Illinois. In 1952, she married the late Gail Schwartz. Along with their two children, Richard and Renee, they lived primarily in Blue Island, Illinois. Wanda loved to crochet, cook, and spend time with her family. She is especially known for her famous carrot cake. She is survived by her son, Richard Schwartz (Laura nee St. Aubin) of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Renee Schwartz of Silver Spring, Maryland; granddaughter, Jennifer Barnett (Kevin) of Plano, Texas; grandson, Richard Schwartz of Dallas, Texas; and five great grandchildren, McKenzie, Jack, Brooke, Madison, and Trey. Wanda will be cremated and no services will be held.
