Tek wha ah tellin ya… Sharon Vanita Azeez was one of a kind. Born to Babsie and the late Jameel Azeez in Georgetown, Guyana on May 06, 1962. She was the third child of ten children and probably the most mischievous-known as "white rice"-when the milk powder and sugar went missing, you would find Sharon hovering in a corner. She loved to get dressed up and would fashion her own Saris from bed sheets. Sharon was very protective of her siblings and was well-known for her no-nonsense attitude. Throughout the years, Sharon formed strong, long-lasting relationships with her siblings and other relatives which transcended into adulthood. She had a deep sense of family and prided herself on the bonds she created with those she loved. She expressed her love through her delicious dishes and hosted some of the most incredible holiday get-togethers. Sharon was always the life of the party. Everyone who knew her, knew of her extremely "colorful" sense of humor. Her "Sharon-isms" left you in stitches. Sharon's fearlessness and fierceness is shown in her bad-ass daughters, Nadia (Lindsay), Natasha (Danny) and Nadine, her grandchildren, Zackary, Devin, Dylan, Amber, Robyn and Natie-Nate who lovingly called her Mookie-Mookie. Her strength grew from her amazing siblings, Sandra, Sonia, Shamane, Shireen, Jameel, Kassim, Shafdar, Shameeza and Jinette and her mother Babsie. We cannot forget her grand-furbabies, Miles & Cody. Sharon's bright sun has set too soon, but she most definitely will not be forgotten. Her spirit will live on in all of the people she loved and held dear to her heart. She will be truly missed. A Visitation to celebrate Sharons Life will be on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 2:00pm at Aria Funeral Home located at 1820 N. Belt Line Rd., Irving, TX 75061.
