Sharon went home to our heavenly father on April 24, 2018 due to complications of Alzheimer's disease. She was born in 1941 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to the late Erma and Wilfred Pappenfus. Her family moved to Dallas in 1952 where she later graduated from North Texas State University with a degree in clothing design. She was the president of the Fashion Design Club and a member of the cotillion club. Sharon also made significant contributions to the clothing industry over the next 30 years. Sharon was a life long member of the Roman Catholic Church and a member of Saint Ann's Catholic Church in Coppell Texas. In her free time Sharon enjoyed hunting, fishing, bingo and spoiling her two boys. Services will be held on Saturday May 12th at 11am at Gateway Funerals and Cremation at 17390 Preston Road, Suite 310, Dallas, Texas 75252. She is survived by her husband of 49 years John, son Brad Lowery, Brad's fiancé Charlene Lingo, brother Dennis, nephew Jim Pappenfus, niece Emily Evans and husband Eddy and great nieces Mary Kate, Abigail and Samantha Evans.
