Betty Claire Smith passed away in Dallas Tx Sunday September 17, 2017. She was born on February 1, 1936 in Monticello, Arkansas. She is survived by her husband Stanley Smith for 61 years, son Benjamin and wife Sherry, son Timothy, sisters Carolyn Hudson and Kay Bateman and four grandchildren Douglas, Stephanie, Rachel and Nicholas. She was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Hortense Haynes. She loved family, eating, music and travel. Memorial services will be held Friday September 22 at 10am at White Rock United Methodist Church 1450 Oldgate Ln Dallas, Tx 75218. Memorials may be made to White Rock United Methodist Church 1450 Oldgate Ln Dallas, Tx 75218.
