Marshall ONeal Smith Jr., age 67, born in Lufkin, Texas, passed away June 17th 2014 after nearly 10 years of bravely enduring many medical battles. He is survived by his loving wife of 23 years, best friend and caregiver, Phyllis Grzywinski Barron. He is also survived by his son, Aaron, daughter, Amy Marie, and two half sisters, Carla and Linda. Marshall served 4 years in the United States Army beginning in 1967. Marshalls loves were Phyllis, his children, his kitty "Jellybean", and dog, "Bridgette". He was a professional bowler and also loved to watch old westerns and the Texas Rangers Baseball. A service will be held in Marshalls honor on Tuesday, July 1st at 10:30am at the Aria Memorial Chapel on Preston Road, followed by an interment and committal service at the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Childrens Cancer Center, Dallas, Texas.
