Jane E. Stankavich, 79, passed away on Sunday, March 20, 2016 in Plano, Texas. A Memorial Service in Jane's honor will be held at 11:00 A.M., Thursday, March 24, 2016 at ARIA Memorial Chapel with Dr. Bill Lundy Officiating. She was born August 14, 1936 in Millhousen, Indiana to Frank and Elverra Stuehrenberg. Since retirement, Jane was an avid crocheter of baby blankets for LIFETALK mothers in need. Her husband of 12 years, Gunnar Pohevitz and husband of 36 years, Edward Stankavich, along with her parents and several siblings and her son, Randy preceded her in death. She is survived by her brother, Paul Stuehrenberg and wife, Mary; sister, JoAnn Brooks and husband, Richard; daughters, Donna Rector and husband, William and Kathy Hamill and husband, David; stepson, John Stankavich; 8 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great grandchildren.
