Born February 7, 1927 in New Orleans, LA, and died November 18, 2013 in Richardson, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernadine Claire Bentley Staples and Ernest Lamar Staples, and her brother, Ernest Lamar Staples, Jr. She was a devoted Daughter and Sister and a beloved Aunt. She is survived by her nephews, nieces, and their spouses, David Lamar Staples and Susan Staples, Anne Elizabeth Staples Werner and Gary Werner, Mary Jane Staples Touchstone and Garth Touchstone, and Robert Bentley Staples and Eve Law, many great-nieces and nephews, and her precious dog Lexi. She always enjoyed the many wonderful meals and good times she had with her family and friends. A private service will be held at Lake Lawn Cemetery in New Orleans at a later date.
