Peggy Sue Partee Starks Born July 11, 1930 and took her last breath December 08, 2013 close to midnight. Mom lived a full life, earning a Bachelor of Arts in English, a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Arts in English all from the University of Texas at Arlington. She enjoyed attending Oxford University during the summers to further her studies. She loved to travel and has made friends around the world. She worked many years as a Medical Records Administrator, a profession she was passionate about. She served on the Board of Directors for the Texas Medical Association for a number of years. She was a docent at the Dallas Zoo and loved helping in the snake area. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband Joe E. Starks and her son Sherman E. Starks. She is survived by her daughter Susan S. Head, son Stephen E. Starks, daughter Sharon Starks, grandchildren Lainey, Amanda, Garrett and Lou, and great-grandchildren Stephen, Chase, Travis and London. Interment will be in Ripley, Tennessee, beside her brother and father. Mom will be missed every day.
