Stella Barona Age 74, passed away December 16, 2024, in Plano TX

Following a long illness she is survived by her husband Antonio Santos, sisters Vitalia Barona of Katy Tx, and Mari Barona of Cali Colombia and brother Romulo Barona, of Cali Colombia, she was preceded in death by her father Romulo Barona and her mother Betsabe Barona nee (Medina), Sister Deyanira Barona brothers Fauricio and Siguifredo Barona.

Stella obtained a law degree from La Universidad libre de Colombia, attended

Cleveland State University and also obtained a master's degree from Bowling Green State University, during this time she traveled every year with the student exchange program in Spain. She came to Texas in 1998 settling in the colony, TX with her husband Antonio, and was a Spanish professor at Collin College and Texas woman's University.

Stella Loved Spanish literature and culture and specializing in romance languages.
