Stephen Thomas Stephenson was born in: Big Spring, Texas on December 2, 1938 and passed away on September 5, 2017 in Richardson, Texas. He served our country in the United States Marines and is a Vietnam Veteran, serving from June 1958-June 1961. He received 2 purple hearts as well as a service medal in Vietnam. He was an avid aviator, and served on the civil air patrol as well as winning several awards while competing in national aerobatic competitions. He was a devout Scot and was very involved in the Scottish community in DFW in recent years. Most of his life he was in sales - he was a hydraulics, hoses and fitting distributor for Parker Hannifin Corporation. He also was a business owner - Texas Fittings Specialists in Dallas, TX. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Anne Mary Osman and William Arlis Stephenson; one sister, Nancey Stephenson Pregeant and one Brother, William "Billy" Stephenson. He is survived by his beloved wife of 20 years, Cynthia A. Daily; brother, John Mayo of Elm Mott, Texas; Children, Wesley and wife, Janell of Silsbee, Texas; Stephen, Jr, and wife, LeAnn of Dallas, Texas; Amy and husband Chris of Richardson, Texas; DeAnn and husband Trey of Sachse, Texas; Grandchildren: Janese, Arlis, Nora, Robert, Matthew, Jacob and Noah; 3 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services with Marine Honors will be Tuesday, September 26 at 11:00 A.M., at the DFW National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Wounded Warriors Project or to the SPCA of Texas, as these are causes dear to Steve.
