Steven Don Johnson, age 69, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on December 15, 2025, after a courageous 9-year battle with cancer.

Steve was born in Fort Worth, Texas, on August 19, 1956. He graduated from TCU and went on to complete his medical education in osteopathic medicine at TCOM. He proudly served in the United States Army before beginning his medical career as an internal medicine physician alongside his father at Hampton Clinic.

Steve met his wife, Laura, and together they had a daughter, Kaity, who continued the family legacy as the third generation to practice medicine at Hampton Clinic. Steve had a deep love for golf, fishing, and travel. He cherished the patients he cared for and faithfully served his community for over 35 years. He was dearly loved by his coworkers and friends.

Steve was an amazing father, brother, son, and husband, but the most important part of his life was his love for his Savior, Jesus Christ. His faith was an inspiration to all who knew him, and his life reflected that devotion in every relationship.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sofie Johnson.

Steve is survived by his beloved wife, Laura; his daughter, Kaity Odom; his son-in-law, Jacob Odom; his father, Jim Johnson; his sisters, Brigitte McClellan (Landon), Patricia Albus, and Jennifer Sumrall (Scott); and many much-loved extended family members.

He was deeply loved and will be tremendously missed.
