Thelma K. Stewart peacefully passed away on November 28, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. She was 95 years young. Thelma grew up in McAllen, Texas and moved to Harlingen after marrying her husband Ray Stewart of 62 years, until 2012 when she moved to Dallas, Texas to be with her son and daughter. She is survived by Tish Stewart Fagan, daughter; Clifford Stewart, son and her loyal dog, Karma. Her niece, JoAnne Noser and nephew, Carol Noser, of McAllen, Texas survive her as well. Thelma is preceeded in death by our father, Raymond Stewart. Those of you, who knew her and our family, know we are a sports family. Mama and Daddy met when Daddy played for the Donna Cardinals baseball team. After marrying, Thelma was the secretary of the Harlingen Capitols baseball team on which Daddy was the public-address announcer and official score keeper. It is fitting mama should be able to celebrate the Astros World Series victory in heaven with our Dad, Raymond Stewart and their nephew Ralph Noser, as they were all huge Astros fans. A private ceremony, with the family, will be held in Dallas, Texas with donations accepted at either the SPCA in Harlingen, Texas or the American Heart Association in her name. Arrangements are under the direction of: ARIA Cremation Service & Funeral Home 19310 Preston Road, Dallas, Texas 75252 214-306-6700
