Melvin E. "Pete" Stone, 81, died in Dallas, TX on January 7th, 2020. Born July 13, 1938, in Boyle, MS. Pete lived in Dallas for 40 years where he worked most of his career in the electronics industry before retiring and joining the US Postal Service. He is preceded in death by our beloved son, Randy. He is survived by his wife, Connie, of 46 years, his children Sandy Jones and her Husband Gordon from CA, Candy Stone and her partner Karrie Hafeman from MD, Christopher Stone and his wife Anne from Dallas, Natalie McHugh and her husband Chris from Dallas, as well as his grandchildren Alex, Casey, Whitney, Harper, Emma, James Paul, and Jennifer. He is also survived by his great-granddaughter, Cooper. Sister-in-law, Christine Piekenbrock, Brother-in-law, Fred Roche and wife Nancy. And, a host of nieces and nephews. A viewing/visitation will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church at 11am on Monday, January 13th, with a service to follow at noon. We will be going in a Funeral Procession to Ridgeview West Memorial Park, 7800 Sanctuary Drive, Frisco, TX 75033 in the Garden of Peace to Pete's final resting place.
