David A. Sullivan, of Carrollton, Texas, passed away April 15th 2015 at the age of 82. David was born in Calumet, Michigan on January 1st 1933 to the late David Sullivan and Ursula (Lanctot) Sullivan. David grew up as one of eight children in Michigan and is a graduate of The University of Detroit Jesuit High School, Michigan State University and served our country in the United States Navy. David was a 4th degree member of The Knights of Columbus, delighted in the ever-growing world of technology, was an avid reader and fan of his beloved Spartans. He also enjoyed golfing and skiing in his younger years. He retired after many years of dedicated work as a project manager for International Business Machines (IBM).
David is survived by his daughter, Gina Marie Del Pizzo, of Eustis, Florida, his sister, Lorraine Maki, of Holland, Michigan, his brothers, Paul Sullivan, of Harbor Springs, Michigan, and Roland Sullivan, of Minneapolis, Minnesota, as well as many nieces, nephews, grand children and great-grand children. David is preceded in death by his brother, Morrell Sullivan, sisters, Norrine Smale, Laverne Wygocki, Dee Sullivan, and his parents.
Many will remember David A. Sullivan as a devout Catholic. He was a very active member at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Carrollton, Texas.
