SUSANNE JEANNE DORLICH PRUETT, age 69, peacefully went home to be with the Lord in Dallas, Texas, on July 31, 2026, after a long illness while surrounded by family who loved her dearly.

Susie was born on June 28, 1957, in Ludwigsburg, Germany. As a young girl, she lived for several years in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On February 14, 1974, she moved to Fort Worth, Texas, where she met the love of her life, Robert Lee Pruett, Jr.

Together, Susie and Bob shared 51 years of marriage, building a life and family filled with affection and countless cherished memories. Susie and her family were members of Lake Highlands Baptist Church.

Susie is survived by her beloved husband; her sons, Robby and his wife, Jamie, and Mikey and his wife, Ashley; her brothers, Harry and Ronnie; and her sisters, Mary and Linda.

Though Susie will be deeply missed, her family takes comfort in knowing that she now has eternal peace in heaven. Her beautiful soul, selfless spirit, the unwavering love she gave, and the memories she created will live forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A private family service celebrating Susie’s life will be held at a time and date to be determined.
