Richard Charles "Dick" Swain, 84, of Bedford, Texas went to be with his Lord on October 15, 2014. He was born on September 25, 1930 in Childress, Texas. He was preceeded in death by his parents George and Hester Swain. Richard served proudly as a captain in the U.S. Air Force. He retired from the RCA Corporation as a communications specialist. Richard graduated from Texas Christian University and was a member of the Horned Frog Football Team. He was a member of First Baptist Hurst Church for over 50 years. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeannine Swain of Bedfiord; sons, Rick of Keller, Darren of Bedford, and Brent of Rockwall; grand children, Morgan Swain of Keller, Bradley and Benjamin Swain of Rockwall. Richard will be remembered for his quick wit, storytelling and devotion to his God, family and friends. A public viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm at Aria Chapel followed by a graveside service with military honors at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas 75211 at 2:30 pm.
