Jerry Theodore "Totty" Sweeten, 72, died at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Irving on 2-12-2021. Born 11-30-1949 in McCurtain, Oklahoma, lived in Irving, Texas. He was an avid lover of animals and tended to many of the neighborhood cats. He enjoyed gardening and especially growing peppers and tomatoes for his salsa. He was generous and forthright with his opinion. Survivors include Sammy Sweeten, Gloria Garza, Bobbie Person, In-laws - Mary Sweeten, Yoli Sweeten, and Larry Morrison. Totty was preceded in death by Mack and Melvina Sweeten, brothers Charles and Larry Don, sisters Charlotte and Oleta Sue, and many nieces/nephews/great nieces/great nephews. A celebration of life will be held during the summer at a place and time determined later.
