Fran Sykora was born on September 17, 1934 and went Home to be with her Lord on May 24, 2017. She was born in Giddings, Texas to Walter and Mathilda (Schulze) Mutschink. She loved her Lord, her family and her church. She married James D. Sykora, April 3, 1958, and celebrated 59 years of marriage. She had two children, Sharon Sykora McCallum and James D. Sykora, Jr. She worked in insurance until her retirement, lived in the Richardson/Garland area since 1971 and was a member at Messiah Lutheran Church for 46 years. Fran is survived and beloved by husband, Jim, daughter Sharon and husband, Darrell, son Jim and wife, Robin, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 sisters, 1 brother and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Wilbert. A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 3 at 11:00 a.m. at Messiah Lutheran Church, 1801 West Plano Pkwy, Plano, Texas 75075.
