Sylvia Jean Stewart, 71, died at BSW Irving on August 25th, 2022.
Sylvia was born to JC and Lillie F. Bryant (Clanton) on October 13th, 1951 in Canton, MS. She was proudly the eldest of 10 siblings. The family traveled the country due JCs military service, ultimately settling in Chicago, IL where Sylvia graduated from Westinghouse High School. After graduating she went on to marry James E. Taylor I (deceased) and have a daughter. The family moved to Germany due to military commitment. After several years in Europe the family moved back to the US where they settled in Ft. Sill, OK. After a few years the couple amicably decided to divorce, but remained best-friends.
Sylvia went on to marry Bruce Stewart. The couple moved to Fort Worth, TX where she worked in the medical field until her retirement.
Survivors include her husband Bruce (Ft. Worth), daughter Ms. Sherron "Kim" Taylor (San Antonio, TX), granddaughter Mrs. Jourdan Ashleigh Ratcliff (David I), great-grandchildren David "DJ" and Drew Ratcliff (San Antonio, TX). Along with her loving siblings Amos, JC Jr. (deceased), Phyllis, Diane, Tammy, Larry, Terry (deceased), Cynthia, Bernard and a host of nieces and nephews who loved her immensely.
She is finally at peace and will continue to live in all who love her.
Sylvias wishes were to be cremated and no services.
