Tennyson M Tatro August 18, 1950-July 11,2021 Tennyson went by Ted, he was born in Detroit MI. The son of Tennyson E. and Doris Tatro. After graduating from Redford Union High School in 1969 he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force working as a jet engine mechanic. Upon returning home on his first leave, Ted married his high school sweetheart Susan and adopted her young son Corey and they later adopted their daughter Melissa (Missy). Ted retired a Tech Sargent-E6 after twenty years of serving his country in the MMS (sac) Missile Maintenance Squadron. After retiring and returning home, during the Cold War he pursued his earlier passion as an Architectural Designer. While working with Big D Metal Works he was honored to create the Dallas Police Memorial. He retired a second time from Big D and enjoyed his time with Susan and his family. Ted had the greatest ability to overcome and accomplish anything and his dry sense of humor endeared him to everyone he met. Most of all he truly is a loved and respected husband, father, brother, and a friend. Ted is preceded in death by his two sisters Sharon and Diane. He is survived by his loving and caring wife Susan, son Corey and daughter Missy, brother David and sister-in-law Donna, 5 grand children, and many nieces and nephews. Ted passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family.
