Taylor Whitehead, 62 years old, passed away in Irving, TX, on July 31, 2024, surrounded by family and close friends. Born on August 8, 1961, in Pineville, Kentucky, Taylor lived in various cities around the DFW Metroplex before settling in Irving, TX.

Taylor excelled in his careers, having only three jobs during his life: Pizza Hut in Pineville, KY; United American Insurance Agency in McKinney, TX; and Impact Floors in Dallas, TX. He demonstrated natural leadership skills, a strong work ethic, and a desire to always be his best, quickly moving up to upper management positions. Right before retirement, he owned and operated Whitehead's Professional Window Cleaning, growing it beyond his dreams. Retirement finally called his name in 2018.

Taylor was an important part of his great-nieces' lives: Kirsten, Taylor (named after him), and Skyler (Umberger), Irving, TX. He attended many games, cheer competitions, volleyball matches, birthday parties, and any celebration in their lives. Being "Uncle Taylor" was one of his greatest pleasures. Known in his earlier years as the sharp-dressed man, Taylor made friends anywhere he went and was always the life of the party.

Survivors include his sister, Bernice Whitehead Harris of Irving, TX; brothers, Fred Whitehead and Ronnie Whitehead of Pineville, KY; nieces and nephews Denise Renee Weaver (Harris), Casey (Ogan) Gray, Jamie Caldwell, Trevor Whitehead, Somer Whitehead, Shane Whitehead, Brian Whitehead, Mike Whalen, Wayne Whalen, and Nicholas Whitehead; and a host of close friends. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Virgie Whitehead; sisters, Betty (Whitehead) Elrod, Janice (Whitehead) Whalen, Wilma (Whitehead) Ogan, and Alice (Whitehead) Caldwell; nephews, Kenneth Caldwell and Al Whitehead; and his soulmate and life partner, James (Jimmy) Lee Crume.

A Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the future. Taylor's final resting place will be in Cleburne, TX, where he will be laid to rest next to his soulmate, Jimmy.
