"THE DAVID L. MASON" On June 27th ,2022 David L. Mason, at the age of 58 years young, passed away at home in Garland Texas surrounded by his loved ones, after a long hard-fought battle with cancer. He was born November 21, 1963, in Eaton Rapids, Michigan, the son of Daniel Lee Mason and Dorothy Lineen (Warfield) Mason. Mason worked for Osburn Contractors as Director of Quality Control for over 20 years, where he met his soumate, Ida Rodriquez. Mason and Ida were together for almost 23 years. More than anything, Mason loved to hunt and fish. He will be missed and remembered for the kind, loyal and trusted friend he was. In addition to his parents, Mason was predeceased by a sister, Denise Kibler of Harrison, Michigan. Surviving in addition to his wife, Ida, are his sons, Lee Mason and his wife, Alexa, of Celina, and Andres Rodriquez and his wife, Grecia, of Garland; daughters Lineen Mason, of Dallas, , Sophia Chavez and her husband, Salvador, of Dallas , Claudia Rodriquez and her husband, Matthew, of Dallas; four grandchildren Matlyn Mason, Forest Lundy, A.J. Rodriquez and Penelope Perry; two brothers, Dan Mason and his wife Suzanne of Mesquite Texas and Audy Winsett of Charlotte, Michigan; two sisters Diane Cassel of Minster, Ohio and Julia Winsett of Midland, Michigan. A viewing will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, July 02 at Aria Cremation Services and Funeral Home, 19310 Preston Rd., Dallas, TX 75252 followed by a Celebration of Life from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Beehive Dallas, 1512 Edison St., Dallas, TX 75207.
