Thomas Charles Foster, born in Durham NC, April 26, 1938, died in Plano TX, January 27, 2024 Survived by wife of 62 years, Carol Morey Foster; sons, James Morey Foster (Anne Marie), Southlake TX, and Thomas Hunter Foster, Newport Beach CA; grandsons, Nicholas Hunter Foster, Dallas TX, and Christopher James Foster, Southlake TX; and his faithful canine friend of 14 years, Lizzie. He was the son of the late Charles Thomas and Mary Manning Smith Foster, Durham NC. Mr. Foster received degrees in organ performance from Syracuse University and the New England Conservatory, Boston. He served as Organist/Choirmaster in Episcopal Churches in Andover, MA, Buffalo (Williamsville), NY, Jacksonville, FL, All Saints' Beverly Hills, CA (1976-2003), concluding his music ministry at Epiphany Parish, Seattle, WA (2007-2017). A memorial service and burial will be held at Epiphany Parish Seattle, Saturday, February 17, at 2:00 pm.. The service will be live-streamed for colleagues and friends far and wide.
