Chong Sun Thompson Passed July 9, 2014 in Dallas, TX. Survived by her two daughters Susan Thompson-Gross and her husband Daniel Gross, and Jessica Minnick. She is also survived by her two grandchildren Evan and Lily. She is preceded in death by her husband Wilmot J. Thompson and her father Ki Woon Hwang and mother So Nyum Lee. Born November 24, 1953 in Seoul Korea she met her husband in Seoul as he was stationed there in the US army. Chong spent her career as a successful business woman in the clothing industry. Those who were close friends (and there were many) she considered to be her family. She will be remembered for what a strong, determined, hard worker, and fighter she was. She loved to have fun especially listening to great classic rock, her favorite Korean music, dancing, singing karaoke, and watching soccer. We thank God for taking her to heaven to be with Him and to live in peace and happiness forever.
