Obituary

Trussell "Dusty" Grady, 67, entered eternal life on Monday, May 20, 2024, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Dusty was born on Aug.19th, 1956 in San Antonio, Texas, to Henry Grady and Ada" Jackie" Rush. Later his family moved to Euless, Texas, where he was raised from childhood. After graduating from Euless Trinity High School in 1974, Dusty enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Scofield Barracks, Hawaii. There he worked as an electrician, continuing that vocation for several years after his military service. Due to a back injury, he later attended school to become a Licensed Respiratory Therapist, working in that capacity for many years. After several back surgeries, Dusty filed for disability, and lived out his last years in Haltom City, Texas.

Dusty is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Jackie Grady, all of his aunts and uncles, brother Harvey "Butch" Grady, sister Alma Joyce Stone, twin brother Russell "Rusty" Grady, ex-wife Carolyn Loraus and some of his nieces and nephews.

Dusty is survived by his brother Terry Stanford and wife Deborah of Hamilton, Daughter Amber Grady of Haltom City, Daughters Laura Redden and husband Danny of Wylie, Anitra Grossi and husband Freddie of Boston, MA, and their mother Patsy Grady of Fort Worth. Grandchildren Sarah Grady, Landon, Lucas and Audrey Redden, Anthony and Alicia Grossi, Jacob and Justin Loraus, Hunter, Troy and Jason Loraus, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives.

Dusty's Visitation will be Tuesday, June 4th, 2024, from 12pm-2pm at Aria Funeral Home located at 1820 N. Belt Line Road, Irving, TX 75061. (The family asks that you wear your favorite band or sports team shirt to Dusty's Visitation to celebrate his life. Dusty would love this.)

His funeral Service will be Wednesday, June 5th, 2024, at 10:00 AM also at Aria Funeral Home located at 1820 N. Belt Line Rd. Irving, TX 75061.

Dusty's burial will be a short 20-minute service (with Army Honors) at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211 at 2:00pm with the line-up at the Cemetery @ 1:45pm. (Lane # 1)
