Malcolm "Mal" John Tuohy, Sr. was born in Algiers, LA on June 24, 1922 and died surrounded by loved ones in Dallas, TX on January 26, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Pauline Danos Tuohy, daughter Kathy "Punkin" Daniel, sons Malcolm J. Tuohy, Jr. and wife Kathy of Miramar Beach, FL and Tom Tuohy and wife Carol of Coppell. He was proud to be "Paw" to grandchildren Matt Daniel (Christina), Vanessa Tuohy, John Tuohy (Brooke), Rachel Fortier (AJ), Chris Tuohy (Alex), and Collin Tuohy (Chantel) and 6 great-grandchildren. He joins in heaven his parents, Edward and Myra Tuohy, 2 brothers Ed and Walter Tuohy, son-in-law Scott Daniel and grandson Robby Daniel. Mal lived a long and productive life. In his 94 years, he proved to be a devoted husband, father, grand and great-grandfather. For Mal, family was always first, and he showed us all how to live a " good and faithful" life. Our dad and grandpaw proudly served on a B-17 crew in WW ll , where he survived 35 bombing missions over Germany. He loved physics and engineering, which was essential in forming a successful industrial manufacturing business in Dallas. He enjoyed a long and active retirement playing golf and traveling to all 7 continents. At his request, there will be no services. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
