Nancy, 71, of Hurst, formerly of Millington, TN and Key West, Fl, went to be with the Lord on December 15, 2014 surrounded by her family after a long battle with Alzheimers. Nancy loved her family and traveling with her military husband. She volunteered for the USO in various states where she met her beloved husband. She also loved to volunteer for various churches working on different committees. She is survived by her four children, daughter Kimberly Petersen & husband Duane, her son John Curtis Heminway & wife Helen, her daughter Sherry Farmer, her daughter Lori Heminway and 6 grandchildren, Brittany, Jonathan, Kelsey, Zackary, Zoey & Rose, and 3 Great Grandchildren, Skylar, Braylon & London. The family will hold a celebration of Nancys life on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at First United Methodist Church, Hurst, TX at 10:00 am followed by a graveside service in Key West, FL. at a later date.
