Obituary

We all have a journey to complete in this life each journey is uniquely our own. Some more unique than others. Marvin L Vajgrt "Vinny" born in St. Petersburg Florida October 2, 1943, completed his journey early on October 6, 2016. He passed peacefully with his daughter at his side. As those who were close to him both friends and family knew his was one of those unique lives on this earth. Our lives are forever filled with stories and quotes that caused us to laugh, cry, and at times just shake our heads with a smile on our face. Marvin found as much joy in field of flowers on Mount Rainer as he did on the edge of a racetrack with smoke and smell of burning tires and nitro methane in the air. He could tell stories to adults, children, and childish adults with the same excitement and passion. Particularly if he was talking about airplanes and cars especially his corvette. He shared his many lives and adventures with us from his service in the Air Force, his time traveling in the Caribbean while working for Eastern Airlines, his pride in helping build some of the great planes of our era with Boeing, we still see his work above us every day. Above all his joy of nature where ever he found it be it mountains, beaches, or the universe and his love of all Gods creatures big or small. All will remember him as a man with a smile on his face, a childish grin in a way, although I am certain we all know we saw the same grin a bit mischievous at times. He is survived by his two children from his marriage to Pam, his son Ross Vajgrt and daughter Alexis Vajgrt, three brothers Gene, Al, and Steve, grandson Michael, and loyal Dog "Duke" , as well as countless friends both young and old. We will miss you, Vinny. You were our father, brother, and best friend. God Bless and safe travels. Arrangements are under the direction of: ARIA Cremation Service & Funeral Home 10116 E.
