Valerie Brown Simpson, age 71 died at home in Lewisville, TX on July 9th, 2024.

Born in New Orleans, LA and lived in Forest Park, OH since 1984. She held a long career with Federal Express until she retired.

She will be remembered as mother, wife, friend and an influential and giving spirit to all that have crossed her path.

Survivors include Dayna (daughter) of TX, Warren (son) of OK, David (son) of OH, Jayna (granddaughter) of NY, Aaliyah (granddaughter) of TX, Joy (granddaughter in love) of Ohio, Landon (great grandson) of NY, Vivian Val (granddaughter) of NY, Geneva (godmother) of Louisiana and a host of cousins, 2nd cousins, nieces and nephews that extends far beyond.

Valerie was preceded in death by her mother Bernice, her father Frank and her grandmother, Melba.

A private family viewing and ceremony will be held at North Dallas Funeral Home in Farmers Branch, TX on Saturday, July 20th.
