Born in Corning, NY on February 25, 1952 and passed away in Dallas, TX on May 23, 2015. Don was an Eagle Scout, and a graduate of Clarkston College in New York with an Engineering Degree. He worked for Parsons Corp. as a Railway Signal Systems Engineer, before retiring. He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Marylou Van Kurin; and sister, Nancy Braun. He is survived by his daughter, Gabriele Van Kurin of Florence, SC; fianc, Chrysis Cesaretti, of Richardson, TX; sisters, Heidi Vary of Elmira, NY, and Sue Hendrickson, of Pottstown, PA; brother, Leon Van Kurin, of Corning, NY; and many other family members. He was a wonderful man that was loved by many, and he will be very missed. Memorial Service will be at 1pm on Wednesday May 27, 2015 at St. Lukes Lutheran Church, 1210 W Belt Line Rd, Richardson, TX 75080.
