Leonarda "Narda" Volinsky was born in Plymouth, PA on June 6, 1919 to the late Frank and Rose (Slavinski) Volinsky. She passed away on July 2, 2015 in Carrollton. She was a graduate from Marywood College and pursued a career as a dietician. She worked for the airlines after graduation. Narda moved to Texas and worked for the school system for many years. She volunteered for many years at Christian Community Care Action in Lewisville. She was a daily communicant at Prince of Peace Catholic Church in Plano and also attended St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Carrollton. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Rosemary Volinsky and several nieces and nephews. A memorial mass will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, July 16, 2015 at Prince of Peace Catholic Church located at 5100 W Plano Pkwy, Plano, TX 75093.
