Wahleta "Jo" Spradlin Wallace, aged 97, passed away peacefully on July 23, 2024, in Murphy, Texas. She was born on January 21, 1927, in Blueridge, Texas to O.L Spradlin and Ora Frazier Mclarry Spradlin. She married Delmar Eli Wallace JR on December 2, 1949, in Greenville, Texas. She spent her life as a homemaker and did volunteer work, as well as teaching Sunday school for 60 years at First Baptist Church of Richardson. She loved God, her family, and traveling. She always put her family first and was dearly called "Mimi" by those who knew her best.

She is survived by her daughter Priscilla Richards, and husband James; granddaughter Kimberley Hoffpauer; granddaughter Kelly Poole and husband Clint; granddaughter Mallory Bauer, and husband Bret; grandson Alec Richards; and granddaughter Katelyn Richards; great grandchildren Nancy and Mae Ella Hoffpauer, Hunter and Hadleigh Poole, Braxton and Brooklyn Bauer, and Zane Wingfield; brothers Billy Ray Spradlin and Bobby Glenn Spradlin.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Delmar Wallace JR; daughter Nancy Jane Kiser and husband Bobby Kiser, and daughter Susan Elizabeth Bleakley and husband Charles Bleakley.
