Obituary

Warren James (Jim) Sikes was born July 13, 1947, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. He graduated from Muskogee Central High School. After graduation he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. He served honorably, was a proud Vietnam veteran and he was "always faithful" to his God, his country, and his family.

After discharge, he graduated from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma and later was employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs at offices in Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas. After retirement, he moved to the Dallas, Texas, area to be near his daughter, son-in-law, and three grandsons.

He passed away quietly April 16, 2024, at Faith Presbyterian Hospice in Dallas, Texas. He is survived by his wife Eva, daughter Ericka and son-in-law John, grandsons Quinn James, Cameron, and Zachary, and nieces Erin, Julie, and Bethany, all of the Dallas area, and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by his father Warren Sr., his mother Madelyn, and his daughter Deborah.
