Wayne Albert Horton was born in Imperial Valley, California on May 15th, 1947 to Forrest and Mary Katherine Horton. He unexpectedly passed away at his home in Burleson, Texas on September 20th, 2023.

Wayne Horton lived his life on his own terms, right up until the end. A man of strong convictions, he did not sway, nor did he falter. While he didnt always show it, he loved his family very much. Waynes true passion was riding his Harley and being in the wind. Wayne could be tough as nails, and he lived by a code many of us didnt understand, but you always knew where you stood with him.

Wayne is preceded in death by his parents Forrest and Mary Horton, and sister Patricia Johnson.

He is survived by his sisters Joyce Mclain, Lois Berry, Ginger Firks, Dona Kelly, Denise Kilgore, and Mary Thomas. His family Jimmy and Angie Horton, Rockey and Lisa Horton, Wendy Horton, Ryan and Patty Lawhon, Davey and Annette Jones, and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on October 8th at 12:00 pm, at 124 Woodland Drive, Burleson, Texas 76028.

Can you feel the wind in Heaven

Can you hear me call your name

Can you see the tears that fall

This world wont ever be the same

Can you feel the wind in Heaven

When we gather in our group

Can you hear the sound of silence

When we look where you once stood

Can you feel the wind in Heaven

Can you hear the ladies cry

Can you feel our broken hearts

When we have to say good-bye

Can you feel the wind in Heaven

While the men hold back their tears

Leather clad and watery eyes

And know wed rather have you here

I hope there is a biker Heaven

And we will meet again some day

I hope to feel the wind in Heaven

And shake your hand again that day Please leave the family condolences and share memories on this website.
