Walter Lee WeMott, Jr. beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather passed away peacefully May 25, 2015. He is survived by Nadene Brandt WeMott his wife of 58 years, daughters Laurie WeMott of McKinney and Jana WeMott Brown (Mike) of Plano, granddaughters Ashley Erdman (Brent) and Caitlin Atwell (Clay), three great-grandchildren, Jackson, Tyler, and Camden; brother-in-law, Donal Brandt; sister-in-law, Patricia Brandt; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by sisters Ann WeMott and Sallie WeMott. Walter was a veteran of the Korean War who proudly served in the U.S. Army. His memorial service with military honors will take place Friday, June 12, 2015 at 11:15am at DFW National Cemetery; 2500 Mountain Creek Pkwy., Dallas, TX 75211. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association or to Operation Kindness in Carrollton, TX.
