Wenzel, Diana Dean Beeman Passed away on August 26, 2013 in Dallas, Texas. Born on April 15, 1961 in Odessa, Texas to Suzanne Ewing and Dean Beeman. Preceeded in death by grandparents Myrtle and Bryan Jones and Marilyn and Archie Beeman. She is survived by her husband Dan, sons, Everett and Justus, parents, mother and father-in-law, Darrel and Deanne Wenzel, 2 sisters - Laurie Kuhlwein, husband Mike and Deann Welch, husband, Todd, nephews - Daniel, wife Angel, Daren, Ethan, Jake and Josh, nieces - Tiffany, Carissa, Maiya, Julia, Kimberly, Aria and Justine and many special cousins. After graduating from Richardson High School in 1979, she went on to further her education at the University of Texas and graduated with a degree in Fashion Design. Diana was an accomplished fashion designer and a talented artist. Her most recent accomplishment was redesigning their home. She was able to see the project through to completion, albeit, not for long. A Memorial Service will be held at Park Cities Baptist Church, Ellis Chapel, 3933 Northwest Highway, Dallas, 2pm on Thursday, 8/29/13. A reception to celebrate Diana's life will follow. Diana was born in Odessa, Texas in 1961 and later moved to Dallas where she graduated from Richardson High School in 1979. She went on to further her education at the University of Texas and graduated with a degree in Fashion Design.Diana followed in her grandmother, Mellie's footsteps, with a passion for fashion. She even had her own business at one time with a line of her own and gave it her sister's name, Laurel Ann. Her clothing was sold at local boutiques, like Pappagallos. Affectionately known by her family as Di, she loved her family and even before she had her own family she spent much time with her nephews, Daniel and Daren, and experienced what babies and toddlers were all about, so when she found the right man in Dan and settled down to have children of her own, she was prepared. Diana decided to leave the business life behind when she had her children, Everett and Justus. They were her pride and joy. They both had her artistic gene, but on the musical side - Everett with the saxophone and guitar and Justus with the piano and drums. When the children entered school Diana dipped her toe into the real estate world. She found out quickly that she had a knack for finding a good deal, making needing repairs and cosmetic updates and leasing them out. She had become a real estate mogul! J Diana truly seemed to enjoy the business. Diana also had a love of God and it didn't matter where she was or what she was doing, she always wanted to share what God was doing in her life. Even to the end of her life she witnessed to fellow patients and nurses. She was a real disciple of God. We will miss her!
